What do you do..

when you start reading a book, and you realise that you are reading it about three years too late.

Would you still read and complete it?

I'm having that exact dilemma about some of the stuff in my bookshelf - one hundred years of solitude (yes, which I've begun reading now), catch 22 (which I read a long time ago but felt compelled to revisit for some strange reason), Jeeves and Wooster (not kidding, I haven't completed a book in the series thus far).

And, will I ever get down to reading Murakami, or can I add that to the list of 'things to do in the present, and only the present' which have passed me by?

What an awkward pleasure it is, musing about what you're supposed to be reading!

:) I know, I know.

Hey Suhas, you wouldn't believe what I have got my hands on. A genuine bit of cricketing history. Are you still in Bangalore? Then you should seriously come down home sometime.

That reminds me - I still have one of yours. When are you meeting me to reclaim it ?
